Enjoy building a snowman, throwing snowballs, sledding, snowshoeing, etc. Simply enjoy a real winter’s day in the Arctic. Visit the Snow Fun Zone high up in the mountains, near Basecamp NORD in the Bardufoss region. Bus departure every day with Arctic Route from Scandic Ishavshotel at 09.00, back in Tromsø at 18.15. Or private transfer.

The climate is getting warmer, snowmen around the world is under threat – luckily, here we can still embrace the snowman! In the Snow Fun Zone you can try classic Norwegian winter activities.. A guide will tell you about winter life on a daily basis in the Bardufoss region. In between, you can relax in the Aurora Cabin, as well as by an open fire outside. Along the way, you will be served a lovely homemade soup for lunch, coffee/ tea and snacks. Inside Basecamp NORD you will find a souvenir shop, as well as a cafe, toilet etc.

Contact us directly if you are traveling from Narvik, then you must stay overnight. Also contact us if you drive your own car and want to book only activities. The same if you would like an earlier return, right after the experience.
