By car

Destination Snowman and the Bardufoss Region is located in the southern part of Troms and Finnmark county, just above Nordland county. The region is easily accessible by car, as the European route 6 (E6) stretches through. Bardufoss is centered between Narvik in the south and Tromsø in the north, about two hours of driving from each city, and is a common stopover when traveling in Northern Norway.

There are several large caravan sites in the Bardufoss region if you visit the region with your caravan or camper, namely Bardu camping and tourist center, Nedre Målselvfossen feriesenter, Rostadalen camping, Senja camping and more. The region has a great selection of rental cars, and you can rent your car in Narvik, Tromsø, Finnsnes or at Bardufoss Airport.

By plane

Bardufoss Airport is the heart and core of the Bardufoss Region. There are daily departures between Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Bardufoss. Bardufoss Airport is a logical alternative when flying to Northern Norway as you arrive in the middle of the Arctic Wilderness.
